The presentation that affected and changed me the most was the presentation about sex trafficking. This affected me because it is such a horrific and terrifying problem in the world today. This presentation also changed my thinking in a way where it got me to try and help stop sex trafficking and to know that it is wrong and no one in the world boy or girl should capture, abuse, and enslave a human being. In this presentation it really motivated me to want to go and try to set up or join a group or program that helps to stop sex trafficking. One of the many interesting facts that I learned was that many big companies traffic in there workers one of them being Walmart. The presentation about sex trafficking really changed my thinking in many ways and inspired me to go out and do something about this horrifying issue that is going on right now in the world.

Conflict in "Anthem"
In “Anthem” Ayn Rand has many conflicts that occur through out the book, one of them being a conflict between the knowledge of technology by knowing about the possibilities of life and the head council who are trying to prevent there countries people from having that knowledge of technologies and the possibilities of life. When Equality 7-2521 is able to discover a new technology that no one else has discovered before its called electricity or light. He becomes very excited and has a pride in himself that he was able to make it all by himself. “We made it. We created it. We brought it forth with our own hands. Our mind. Ours alone and only.” Equality 7-2521 has this sense of pride in what he has created and discovering and wanted to present this amazing discovery to the head council. Here is when Equality 7-2521 stands in front of the head council and starts to see that they are not as proud of him and his in invention and realizes that they probably will not be proud of him for his new discovery on electricity or light. “We looked up into the faces of the council, but there is no curiosity in those faces and no anger, and no mercy.” Equality 7-2521 realizes that the council will not be happy with what he has discovered and that they might even punish him for what he has discovered. Here creates a conflict between man verse man. A conflict between a sense of pride in this new invention of discovery to the council not caring and maybe angry with what has been found against the rules.
